Expertize in clinical pathology, Cytology, hematology and histopathology.

Career History and achievement

  • Practicing since 1979 till 2007 at Sion, Mumbai.
  • Practicing since 1987 at Vashi and Panvel,  Navi Mumbai.
  • Radio Immuno Assay ( R.I.A. )training at Bhabha Atomic Research Center (B.A.R.C.), Mumbai in 1983.
  • Cytology and Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology ( F.N.A.C. ) training at Tata
  • Memorial Hospital (T.M.H.), Mumbai in 1996.    
  • Training Program on “ Laboratory Management and Internal audit for ISO-15189:2007’’ from 5th to 8th May 2009, at Center for Electronic Test
  • Engineering (CETE ) Bangalore.
  • Attended various CMES and workshops in conferences.

DR. KSHITIJA WAJEKAR PATKAR

M.D. ( Pathology ). Fellowship in Oncopathology & Cytolopathology.
Dr Kshitija has over 12 years of experience in field of diagnostic pathology.
Expertise in Oncopathology and Cytology.

Career History and achievement

  • She is working as consultant pathologist in Patkar Laboratory for more than 5 years.
  • Successfully completed one year cytopathology fellowship held by Seth G.S. and KEMH Medical college in 2014.
  • Successfully completed two year Oncopathology fellowship held by Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, BJMC, Ahmedabad in 2015 and 2016.
  • Three months oncotrainee post in Molecular pathology at ATREC, TATA memorial hospital in 2020.
  • Taken training for NABL Laboratory QMS and internal auditor course as per ISO – 15189 – 2012 at LTMMC and LTMG hospital, Sion in 2014.
  • Attended various CMES and workshops and participated in poster and paper presentations in conferences.

DR.VARSHA DESHPANDE

D.C.P. D.N.B. ( Pathology ). Fellowship in Uropathology.
Dr Varsha has over 5 years of experience in field of diagnostic pathology.

  • She is working as consultant pathologist in Patkar Laboratory for more than 1 year.
  • Successfully completed one year Uropathology fellowship held by Seth G.S. and KEMH Medical college in 2020.
  • Taken training for NABL Laboratory QMS and internal auditor course as per ISO – 15189 – 2012.
  • Attended various CMES and workshops and participated in poster and paper presentations in conferences.
